Our mission is you.

Here at Sol-32, we hold faith at our core. That’s why faith is the bedrock of our name. With a slight play on words and languages, Sol-32 points us to a book of faith: Alma chapter 32. The text found in this book compares our faith to a seed. “But if ye neglect the tree, and take no thought for its nourishment, behold, it will not get any root.”

A logo wouldn’t be complete without some hidden meanings. As mentioned, Sol is the Spanish word for “Sun”. We can clearly see the sun rising above some mountains in our logo. “And now as I said concerning faith-faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.” Just like a rising sun, faith slowly, but certainly brightens our lives.

Our name comes from the Prophet who gave these inspired words: Alma. In Spanish, Alma means soul. The pronunciation of the English word: Soul is the same pronunciation as the Spanish word for Sun: Sol. The chapter containing the inspired sermon of faith and seeds is the 32nd chapter in Alma’s book. Thus Sol-32 is a constant reminder of the need to nourish our faith.

The sun rises over mountains. This is to help us remember that no matter how large or daunting our trials or journeys are in this life, they are dwarfed by the light of The Son (See that one last play on words?) The light of our faith will always help us overcome life’s challenges.

“Then my bretheren, ye shall reap the rewards of your faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the tree to bring forth fruit unto you.”
